In which I am not taking pictures at all. I am distracted by trying to figure out my life (spiritually, interpersonally) working out every wrinkle in my mind until I am absolutely satisfied that I am positioned as I want to be within this world. And, once that is done, a phase:

In which I take pictures. I continue this phase until enough spiritual problems accumulate within my mind that I return to phase #1
Sometimes I have interpreted this as meaning that the gods in the world beyond reward me for doing my spiritual work with the ability to take pictures. Lately I interpret it as meaning that only when I am clear headed enough to actually pay attention to my environment, do I have the possibility of seeing something I want to photograph
